Sue Beard is currently teaching kindergarten and first grade at Immanuel. Nate Dittrich

Mr. Nathan Dittrich (Mr. D ) is the 6th-8th grade homeroom teacher. He is also the athletic director. Sharing the Savior with children is his focus in the classroom and on the court. He has been blessed to serve at ILS since 2015.

Nate is husband to Elizabeth (2008) and father to Eli, Isaak and Ada. Nate grew up in Phoenix, AZ and attended Arizona Lutheran Academy before earning his B.S.E from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2002.

Nate enjoys a wide range of activities. He coaches volleyball and other sports, sings in the choir, loves to travel, plays euchre and especially looks forward to time with his family. Contact Mr. D at



Mary Ellen is the Director for Little Lamb Academy of Medford since 2014. She graduated from Bethany Lutheran College (AA) and Concordia University St. Paul (BA). She also has received WELS certification through Martin Luther College. She has previously taught Kindergarten for 18 years and has been in working with child care centers for over 10 years.

Mary Ellen is from Minnesota, but enjoys the people of Medford, WI and their friendliness. She likes to crochet afghans for her family, sings in the senior choir and loves the dear children and families that the Lord sends her way through Little Lamb Academy.
